Liability insurance for ground handling services at airports
All service providers at airports (ground handling services) are required to have liability insurance.
Regardless of whether you are cleaning, towing, marshalling, refuelling, loading/unloading or appraising aircraft, transporting passengers, luggage or post, providing catering, engaging or parking passenger steps or carrying out other options at the airport or on the apron, property damage, financial losses or personal injuries can happen that could have a severe impact on your company.
The insurance covers an examination of all liability issues, defence against illegitimate claims and compliance with justified obligations to pay compensation.
Did you know?
Even if limitations of liability have been agreed in your GTC or international contracts, this will not protect you against the costs of legal disputes.
